4 Quick Ayurvedic Power Recipes

These simple Ayurvedic recipes are easy to prepare. Even kids will love them. Now you can cook tasty and healthy Ayurvedic recipes for yourself and for your near and dear ones.

1.    Dry fruit bar

Coarsely grind equal quantities of dry fruits (apricots, pears, raisins, figs, dates, prunes—as per your choice) and nuts (almond, walnut, pecans, cashew, pistachio, brazil nuts—according to your taste preference). Shape the mixture into your round balls or flat shapes with your hands. Wrap in chocolate wrapping paper, and store it. This delicious dry fruit bar can serve a healthy power packed snack.

2.    Daal Soup

Cook one part yellow split lentils with three parts water. This homemade soup is rich in proteins, light to digest, tasty and healthy.

3.    Lemon Pulp

Mix the pulp of lemon with cane sugar and pepper. Season with cardamom. This is an excellent appetizer and rejuvenates the person who partakes of it.

4.    Cilantro Chutney

Grind cilantro leaves, green chili and roasted peanuts into a fine mixture. Add salt and a few drops of lemon juice. This recipe is cooling and refreshing and pacifies all three doshas. It is also a rich source of vitamins and minerals.

    This is a great article with some great recipes to help in my ayurvedic lifestyle. I love lemon pulp, so anything that includes it is a plus for me. I will have to give that one a try, I could always use a rejuvenation!
